joined Noble Marine.
From Cork to Corfu
Yachtline and WG Yachts became part of the Noble Insurance Group in 2019. During 2023 the two businesses will merge under the Noble Marine name so that all of our customers can access the full breadth of our services through a single point of contact.
Claims will continue to be handled, in-house, by the same team as they are today.
The three businesses are highly complimentary with Yachtline & WG focusing on larger vessels and those based outside the UK and Noble Marine specialising in small craft and other vessels predominantly based in the UK.
Founded by Richard Walton-Gould over 25 years ago, WG Yachts has specialised in the insurance of Charter vessels and Charter fleets, many in Greece, but also in the UK, Scotland, Portugal, Spain and Western Mediterranean. We also have access to markets covering Blue Water cruising and Racing vessels of all classes.
In addition to a 10 year career in the Royal Navy Richard has always been involved with sailing, having sailed in most parts of the World; UK, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Far East and North America. He also holds an Ocean Navigation Certificate and RYA Coastal Skipper qualifications in addition to his naval training.
Richard's extensive experience at sea combined and his insurance expertise is recognised across the UK marine insurance market. In 2019 Richard joined forces with Noble Marine.
Yachtline was established in 1990 and since them it has been providing yacht insurance to customers in the UK and Europe. Our expert team are able to find solutions for most yacht insurance risks.
Keith Hurst, Director of Yachtline, has over 30 years experience in the London marine insurance market with particular expertise in Yachts and other pleasure craft.
