Stewartby Water Sports Club (SWSC) has four sporting Sections: Angling, Sailing, Powerboat and Water Ski. The SWSC has an elected Management Committee that oversees the activities of the Club as a whole. Each Section has its own elected committee to look after Sectionís sport and program. Typically, the SWSC usually has some 600 to 700 members.
For obvious safety reasons, Power and Sailing craft are separated; the lake being divided by demarcation buoys. Each area has marker buoys for its own activities as well. Over a short space of time, the water has become fully utilized and all activities operate in harmony without detriment to individual interests.
Large car parks are available near the water, and adjacent to the dinghy park and Clubhouse. A wide area of grassland going down to the water's edge is ideal for the summer picnic or for just watching the family enjoying themselves on the water.
The modern Clubhouse also overlooks the water and provides full changing and shower facilities as well as refreshments, bar and a sheltered place from which to view.
