Noble Marine (Underwriting Agencies) Ltd was established in 1996 and is a sister company of Noble Marine (Insurance Brokers) Ltd established in 1985. Both companies are based in Newark on Trent and specialise solely on providing Pleasure Craft insurance.
The company was established in 1996 to administer all pleasure craft policies, on behalf of Commercial Union. Underwriting Authority for Pleasure Craft has been maintained through the Commercial Union’s merger with General Accident to form CGU and again during the merger with Norwich Union and finally through to the name change to Aviva on 1st June 2009.
Through this tie-up with Aviva, we are able to provide the reassurance of a policy backed by the security of the largest insurance provider in the UK, whilst providing you and your client, the specialised knowledge and service that can be provided by Noble Marine. All administration is carried out by Noble Marine, from initial quotation, through to policy issue, mid-term adjustments and renewal. Any claims, should they occur, are also handled in-house, by our dedicated claims team.
