Shroud U bolt backing plate broke through hull and pulled deck up so it cracked and distorted. The deck has removed over damaged area. Repaired by West Country Boat Repairs & insured by Noble Marine. Boat hit by a bow sprit of another 200, puncture hole above chine but hull delaminated below chine with second impact. Cut out section of hull around hole so we could get to inside and bonded layers back together, third photo is getting news ection of hull ready to be bonded back into place. Insured by Noble. Hull as strong as before, cannot see repair, boat finished 15th out of 105 boats at Nationals and 3rd on National Circuit after being repaired. Mirror dropped off trailer destroying forward section of lower hull panal, whole new section fixed in place, seams new fibre glass tape, panal expoxy coated and filled ready for painting. Insured by Noble, boat now has many years life left. Owner made bit of an error towing out of a driveway and wrapped his Fireball round a post. Boat was totally repaired, and sailed at this years Fireball Worlds
