Telford Sailing Club was formed in 1975 and is located at Priorslee Lake on the north east edge of Telford in Shropshire. It has good access to main roads and motorways and there are local buses and a railway station 15 minutes walk away.

The Lake has a sandy bottom; there is a dam on the eastern edge but the other shores are soft. The lake is no more than 4.5m deep. Boats can be launched from a concrete slipway or straight off the grassy shore on the south side of the Lake.

The Club shares the lake with water ski and model boat clubs. The TSC has access to the lake on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and most Sundays throughout the year. Racing is mostly on Sundays plus some Saturdays. There are Club visits to Himley, Bala, Abersoch and Rutland Water at various times and events where other clubs are invited. Check for precise dates here.

Cruising sailors may use the Lake when the races are over though they may need to keep clear of the Model Boats.

The Clubhouse has changing rooms, toilets and a kitchen and there is a secure, locked dinghy park and parking for members' cars. A new Clubhouse is currently under proposal and will greatly enhance the facilities at Priorslee.
