The Redditch Sailing Club was formed in 1960 and sailed on the River Avon at Offenham, near Evesham. In June 1973, the Club transferred its headquarters to the newly created lake in the Arrow Valley Park at Redditch.

The lake is approximately 27 acres in extent and is a good shape for sailing, being roughly triangular with two central islands. The Club has built a 2-storey brick Clubhouse that includes a galley with bar facilities, changing rooms and showers, as well as storage space for equipment.

Slipways and car and dinghy parking facilities are also available.
