We are concerned with "Blue Water" cruising and have about 1900 members worldwide. To qualify for membership you need to have completed a voyage point to point chart distance by the shortest practical route of no less than 1000nm in a yacht under 72ft OA. We do take on Associates who intend to make such a voyage and have a Mentoring Scheme whereby Associates are paired with an experienced skipper for help and advice. We also have some limited bursaries to help young people undertake qualifying voyages.
