Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club is one of the very best 'family sailing clubs' in the South East, and welcomes many new members each year.

It has the unique advantage of offering both beach and lake sailing facilities together with round the clock access for members keelboats and the club's fleet of training and safety powerboats at the local port of Newhaven, all within an area of 3 miles !

With at least 150 children a week on the water learning to sail in the extensive fleet of club training dinghies, the Club has one of the most successful 'cadet' sections in the country.

As an RYA Training Centre, the Club prides itself on 'growing its own' qualified coaches and powerboat crews as well as running beginners and improvers courses for adults throughout the summer.

Club racing takes place Sundays and Wednesday evenings on the sea during the Summer, and at the Club's local lake in nearby 'Piddinghoe'during the Winter.

Showers and changing rooms at both Piddinghoe Lake and Seaford beach club houses are available to members at any time, and a comfortable bar and cafe area at Seaford during organised activities.
