We are a friendly club operating from a converted Dutch Barge on the edge of Christchurch Harbour. Racing is held every Sunday when the tide is right (about 45 Sundays in the year) in a number of Series (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Evening, Mid-Week etc).

The depth of water in the Harbour sets a natural limit on the size and power of dinghies that can race at PN 1000 or so, divided into fast and Slow categories at PN 1180. We have a large Laser fleet with many Radials and 4.7s, a very keen Junior Section, sailing Optimists and Toppers/Picos and the incentive to improve provided by National Champions in the 2005 Radial and Optimist fleets and Squad members in Optimists, Radials and Toppers. A smaller group of crewed dinghies also race regularly.

Our annual event is Mudeford Week, where 85 to 90 sailors gather for 7 days of serious and lighthearted racing and social events: this year it is 7-13 August.

We have a limited amount of dinghy storage (for regular sailors only) and a public slipway for convenient launching. There is also strong member interest in Hawk 20 and Cornish Shrimper sailing and racing.
