We race throughout the year, as you can see by looking at the race calendar
It takes only fifteen minutes to get from your pontoon to the start line.
Throughout the year we have racing on Sunday mornings, starting at 10:00. Most of the races are planned to last for a couple of hours, with the inevitable sharing of stories and mishaps in the club at lunchtime.
During the summer, we also race on Wednesday evenings and some Saturday afternoons. We also run a series of offshore races.
New crew members are always welcome. If you want to race and do not know anyone to contact, turn up to the Yacht Club at about 8:45 on Sunday morning, talk to the Race Officer of the day and ask them to try to link you with a boat. |
