Beaver Sailing Club is located on Southfield Reservoir, alongside the Aire and Calder Canal, near the East Yorkshire town of Snaith.
The sailing water consists of two reservoirs of approximately 80 and 40 acres, with launching via ramps and jetties. The larger of the reservoirs is used for racing, the season starting in March and finishing at the end of December.
Racing takes place on Sundays, Wednesday nights in summer and Bank Holiday Mondays, and is open to all members.
For members not wishing to race, the smaller reservoir to open at all times for cruising.
Facilities include a clubhouse with changing rooms and showers, a galley for hot drinks and snacks, and a lounge area for relaxing. There are ample car parking spaces and a large boat park. |
